True Life: I'm Famous Online - NOW CASTING

Miscellaneous Media is now casting for True Life: I'm Famous Online.  We're looking for the internet's biggest Instagrammers, Facebookers, and Youtubers for this episode!  Here is the casting call as it appears on mtv.com:

True Life: I'M FAMOUS ONLINE

Do you consider yourself someone who is popular on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram? Do you spend most of your day adding photos, tracking "likes," and responding to comments? How important is it to you to maintain your popularity online? Do you ever engage in Twitter wars? Does your number of Friends or Followers exceed what others may consider normal? Have you taken criticism from your partner, friends, or family about your behavior online?

If you appear to be between the ages of 16-28 and find yourself constantly updating your status or taking a "selfie," we want to hear your story. Send an email to online@miscmedia.tv with your name, location, and social media information. Tell us why your online presence would make for a great segment on True Life.

“Legit documentary-style programs about real-life families — such as MTV's "True Life" — will get you right back in front of the old TV where you belong,” says Linda Stasi of the New York Post.

True Life is MTV's Emmy award-winning documentary series that covers topics ranging from pop culture trends to breaking news issues. Using small handheld video cameras our True Life crews are able to blend into the background to capture life unscripted and untouched. This enables us to tell stories from the voices and points-of-view of our characters – putting the series in a unique position of reflecting the state of youth culture at any given moment.

True Life shows that have aired recently include: True Life: I’m Albino, True Life: I Have a Parent In Prison and True Life: I Have a Traumatic Brain Injury.

Please pass this post along to anyone who might be interested in sharing their story for this episode!
